„Computop GmbH („Computop“)“ is committed to protecting the personally identifiable information you submit online while providing you with the most useful and enjoyable Web experience possible.  When you visit the Computop Website, www.computop.co.uk ( the “Site”), you agree to the collection and use of personally identifiable and non-personally identifiable information that you submit online in accordance with this privacy statement. 

Please note that the Site may contain links to other Websites.  These linked Websites are not governed by this privacy statement.  This privacy statement only applies to the information collected on the Site.  We encourage visitors to linked Websites to review the privacy policies and information collection practices of those sites.

1. Information Collection
As a visitor, you do not have to submit any personally identifiable information in order to use the Site.  Generally, we limit our collection of information to information that is not associated with a specifically identified or identifiable individual (e.g., screen name, birthday, gender and information about your geographic location, such as your zip code, without other information that would identify a specific individual).  Personally identifiable information is not collected via the Site unless it is specifically and voluntarily provided by visitors.  Such information may consist of, but is not limited to, your name, address, email address, telephone number, and when linked to other identifying information, and what organizations you belong to.  This information may be collected as part of our Site’s registration process, when you answer survey questions or when you communicate with us by mail, telephone or electronically.

3. Safe Harbor Privacy Policy

4. Information Use
Personally identifiable information you submit at the Site is used only for limited purposes.  For example, when you register to gain access to services offered on the Site, or to contact us with a question or comment about the Site, the information you submit may be used to respond to you, to contact you regarding new features orservices being offered through the Site, or by Computop or to personalize your experience at the Site.  In addition, the webmasters may, where necessary, use your information for various site related tasks.
You may at any time request to be removed from emails or other communications generated in response to your registration at the Site.

5. Disclosure of Information to Third Parties
The Site currently does not disclose to third parties personally identifiable information that you provide on the Site, except as disclosed here.  We may transfer, disclose or share such information with third party service providers for processing purposes or in connection with a third party service provider’s hosting or maintaining the Site.  Personally identifiable information may be transmitted internationally to third parties for these purposes.  This may include transfer to countries without data protection rules similar to those in effect in your country of residence.  By providing information on the Site, you are consenting to such transfers.

You may review the personally identifiable information you have submitted to the Site and correct any inaccuracies by accessing your user profile.  In your user profile, you may correct and update your details, or delete your profile at any time.

Computop reserves the right to modify or amend this privacy statement at any time and for any reason.  Nothing contained herein creates or is intended to create a contract or agreement between Computop and any user visiting the Site or providing identifying information of any kind.

9. Children’s Privacy Protection
Computop understands the importance of protecting children’s privacy in the interactive online world.  We do not intentionally collect or maintain personally identifiable information about anyone under the age of 13.  If you believe that we might have any personally identifiable information from or about anyone under the age of 13, please contact us at the email link referenced in the following paragraph.
